My name is Mattie Newgent. I am a sophomore at Marriotts Ridge high school and this is my first year on the journalism staff. I am very passionate about all kinds of literature and writing my own. I participate in Theater and the Pre-med club, and outside of school you can find me skateboarding, playing guitar or watching horror movies.
